Yes, you can buy a gift voucher online and it is to be used within 6 months of purchase (not redeemed for cash).
We do as long as there is no loud music or loud noises etc. Our site is in a very quiet, peaceful location.
We do ask for an extra deposit on same sex parties just in case of any breakages etc.
Yes indeed we are!
Butterfly Cabin is the only cabin with a ramp access, the other cabins do have steps, but only 3 steps per cabin. The ramp and path are slightly stony so are slightly uneven.
We normally don’t allow children and it all depends on if we have other guests staying that would be upset by the fact it is an adult only site. As your 4 months baby cannot walk, we may consider if you think there will be minimal noise. At owners discretion.
If you are an experienced fisherman and can monitor him, then that’s fine. We do not want inexperienced people fishing and damaging our fish. Also, if he is well behaved and quiet, that’s good. We have to bear in mind our other guests booking an adult’s only site.
Unfortunately no. This is an adult’s only site. All of our cabins are situated directly over the lake and we do not feel this is safe for small children.
Anyone bringing children onsite without owners consent will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
No. As much as we love our animals, we want our site to remain pet free.
Yes, all of our payments are through our online booking system.
No. We may look at this in the future, but we are a relatively new site and are looking to expand once we have become busier.
We only have 4 lodges in total and fishing is exclusive to cabin guests only as we do not allow day tickets. We have found it’s very rare that all guests in each cabin are fishing people. This is because our site attracts a lot of bird watchers, romantic couples, retired people who just want to relax and on some occasions you may find you have the whole lake to yourself to fish from!
Yes, we have a mobile large communal gas BBQ for all guests to share. Please clean after use and inform owners if you have used the last of the gas.
Certainly not! Anyone found mistreating, killing or eating our fish will be asked to leave
immediately without refund.
All cabins have their own designated parking space next to the cabin. For any extra vehicles or extra-large vehicles, there is an overspill carpark just a stone’s throw away.
Any bait can be used. All bait must be kept in tubs on the veranda or in the log store where you
can use the fridge/freezers. Do not take any bait inside the cabins.
Yes, we also provide towels, toilet roll, hand soap, shower gels, fairy liquid, tea towels, even tea, coffee & sugar.
You can fish up to 3 lines, but we’ve found that all our fishermen/women have ended up just
using one as they are quite busy on just the one line!
Yes, there is the White Heart Pub within a mile which also serve food. There is a Fish & Chip shop & next door to that is a Co-Op branch for all of your necessities. There are takeaway delivery services too. There are other pubs which are slightly further away but within 5 miles. Boston is 6 miles away and Skegness is around 12 miles away. Many Taxi services are available if you didn’t want to drive.
No. But you’re welcome to help yourself to the freshly laid eggs from our on-site free-ranged hens. Please be mindful of other guests staying also. There should be plenty available every day. Also, we provide some condiments.
Yes, all cabins have a large veranda that overlaps the lake that you can fish from. There are two
gates (left & right) for you to pick which side to fish from, or use both!
Yes, if they are all available.
No. Everything is included unless you ask for extra specific gifts etc.
Barbless Hooks only, No keep nets, use landing mats for larger catches, return all fish back to the
lake safely and unharmed. Please inform owners of any dead fish, only cabin guests can fish, no
visitors.
